KIMBE – WEST NEW BRITAIN
Kimbe is the capital of the province of West New Britain in Papua New Guinea. It has the third largest port in the country and is the centre of many industries which include Palm Oil, logging, cocoa and coconut plantations. The population of the town was around 27,000 people in the 2013 census. Kimbe is serviced by Hoskins airport, 42 kms to the east of the town.
