Alotau Weekender

Day 1: Friday Depart Port Moresby 3.15pm on Air Niugini flight PX958 arriving at Alotau’s Gurney Airport at 4.15pm. Napatana Lodge will meet you and transfer you. Overnight Napatana Lodge (twin share private bungalow with dinner and breakfast).

Day 2: Saturday Day trip by road with local tour operator to the East Cape stopping at villages, scenic points of interest, skull caves. Picnic lunch on Biwa Beach. Overnight Napatana Lodge (includes dinner and breakfast)

Day 3: Sunday Transfer by road or dinghy across Milne Bay to Wagawaga Village where you will stay at the relaxed Ulumani Treetops Lodge. Activities here include beachwalking, snorkelling, swimming, walk to the waterfall, feed tame giant eels in the village stream, walk around the village, meet the locals, birdwatching. Overnight Ulumani Treetops Lodge (twin share private room, includes lunch, dinner and breakfast)

Day 4: Monday Early morning road transfer to Gurney Airport to check in for Air Niugini flight PX155 to Port Moresby, departing 7.25am and arriving at 8.15am.
