Port Moresby's reefs are hidden gems and produce some fantastics opportunities to bottom fish and heavy and light gamefishing. Only 45 minutes out from Fairfax harbour, are a myriad of submerged reefs and combine this with the run off from the owen stanley ranges and the strong currents along the Papuan Coastline and continental shelf, these waters can produce big game and lots of it.

Sport Fishing PNG have a variety of vessels available in Port Moresby that are available for charter. They are able to cater for all types of anglers (Beginner to experienced) and all group sizes.

If you are transiting through Port Moresby for a day or two, whether it be a business trip or recently completed the Kokoda Track, it is worthwhile getting out on the water on one of our vessels and having a fish.

Our Vessels:

Tinpis - perfect for the inner reefs around Port Moresby, the Tinpis is the smallest of our boats and will take up to 4 anglers

My Girl - this 21' tri hull boat will carry up to 8 persons in comfort with space for their catch

Kevlacat - 30' with twin 300hp Suzukis is capable of travelling up to 180 miles offshore for the serious fishermen.
