KimbeWest New Britain is a province largely untouched by the outside world, apart from a few areas including around Kimbe Bay. Hoskins airport is 43 kilometres from the provincial capital, Kimbe, and further around the bay is Walindi Plantation Resort and Talasea, a pretty village that was occupied by the Japanese during World War II.
