Bensbach Wilderness Lodge

Bensbach Wildlife Lodge 4 day tour is ideal for a long weekend getaway. Because we use private aircraft charter, groups of at least 4 people are required to make the trip viable, although up to 16 people can be accommodated at once at the lodge.
The accommodation is basic, but comfortable; think of it as upmarket camping with your own maid and chef. Relax on the verandah with a beer from the bar, dine on farmhouse cooking with venison and barramundi regular items on the menu and fish 'til your heart's content.

What type of aircraft am I flying in?
That depends on numbers, but anything from an Aerocommander to a Beechcraft Kingair. It will be twin engine, maintained to Australian CASA standards. Everyone gets a window seat. Unfortunately, they don't have toilets or stewards, but the sectors are relatively short if you are a nervous flier.
* Total flight time in the Kingair is approximately 2 hrs 10 minutes.
