WALINDI PLANTATION RESORT
Walindi Plantation Resort nestles on the shores of Kimbe Bay. Its staff have been proudly showing off the Kimbe Bay reefs to visitors for over 35 years.
The central resort area is the hub of all resort activity, consisting of a reception lobby, Casuarina Restaurant and Planter’s Bar, air-conditioned lounge and library with internet facilities for guest use, the Blue Taro Boutique, a swimming pool, sun deck and administration offices.
We offer three meals daily in our restaurant (included in the tariff) and fare is Western and Asian style, delicious and plentiful, featuring local seafoods, fruits and vegetables. The beef served is produced on neighbouring Numundo Plantation.
Meals are at set times. Special dietary requests will be accommodated wherever possible, just let the Manageress know of your needs.
Relax in the lounge in the comfortable seating and search through thr extensive reference library. Here you will encompass marine life, underwater photography, local terrestrial life and history information. A small fiction section is also housed. Television viewing is available. Please ask the hostess if you would like to view a selection of movies or documentaries on DVD.
Wireless internet facility is available and complimentary for guest use. Please see the staff for instructions on use. The airport is 60km from the resort (a 50 minute drive and a chance to see the surrounding area) and we include the transfer in your packaged price. A laundry service is included at no extra charge. Laundry baskets are provided in each bungalow. Baby sitting and child minding is available day or night. Please enquire at reception.
